Who we evaluate
Hive provides targeted and comprehensive psychological evaluations for children from birth through adolescence, which is uncommon in our area. Developmental evaluations start from birth (Bayley-4); autism evaluations typically from about age 2, sometimes earlier; ADHD evaluations usually once a child is in preschool or school, so teacher input is available. We assess for:
Autism spectrum disorder, including toddlers (ADOS-2, CARS-2)
ADHD (Conners CPT 3 / K-CPT 2, multi-informant rating scales, executive functioning)
Global developmental delay and early developmental concerns (Bayley-4, birth–42 months)
Intellectual developmental disorder (WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, adaptive behavior)
Specific learning disorders, including dyslexia (WIAT-4, CTOPP-2, GORT-5, KeyMath-3, WRAT-5)
Language disorders (CELF-5, CELF Preschool)
Co-occurring anxiety, mood, and behavioral disorders, including dual diagnosis in children with neurodevelopmental disorders
Cognitive/IQ and gifted profiles, including twice-exceptional children

How to refer
Families don't need a physician referral. Parents can contact us directly, and many find us after a provider suggests an evaluation. To make the handoff easy:
Give the family our information (or the handout). They can book a free 10-minute phone consult at hivechilddevelopment.com/book-today or call (317) 456-2321.
Send us relevant records (optional, with the family's signed authorization). Records might include screening results (M-CHAT, Vanderbilt, ASQ), developmental history, therapy notes, or prior testing. Fax: (317) 342-2042. For other ways to send records, call (317) 456-2321.
Refer by phone. Call (317) 456-2321 to talk through a referral or to ask whether Hive is a good fit for a child on your list.
What happens next
Free consult. We speak with the family to see whether Hive is a good fit.
Intake (60–120 min, in person or telehealth). We take a detailed developmental, medical, and family history.
Testing (in person in Fishers). Tailored to the referral question; usually completed in one session when possible.
Feedback (in person or telehealth). We review the results, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations with caregivers, who usually receive the report at this visit.
Closing the loop. With caregiver authorization, we send the report or a summary to you, so you can coordinate medical follow-up, therapy referrals, or medication management.
Typical timeline: consult call within days · intake about 2 weeks out · book testing within weeks. Many major hospital systems have much longer waits.
What families should know about cost
Hive is a private-pay practice and doesn't contract with insurance networks.
Free 10-minute phone consult; intake visit $240
Evaluations use flat, value-based pricing, typically $1,200–$2,800 for a single evaluation; combined evaluations (e.g., autism + ADHD + learning) can run up to about $4,000. The exact flat fee is set after intake, with a Good Faith Estimate before testing
HSA/FSA accepted; superbill provided on request for possible out-of-network reimbursement
Families often choose Hive because they want a thorough evaluation, a strengths-focused report, or care for a very young child.
